Meet Becky Roland and Richard Meadows, proud owners of Chicken Salad Chick of Northport. Becky retired in 2010 and was looking to start a new career. While visiting her daughter at Auburn University, she was introduced to Chicken Salad Chick. She was immediately hooked on the delicious recipes. She and her husband Richard learned that founders Kevin and Stacy brown were developing a new franchise program for Chicken Salad Chick. They wanted in.

Kevin and Becky were the very first Chicken Salad Chick franchisees. Their first location, Northport, opened in November 2012, and they began working on opening restaurants in Dothan and Tuscaloosa later that year. Their business is a family affair, as their son, David, is director of operations for the operating company, The Wishbone Group, Inc. They currently have plans for seven Chicken Salad Chick restaurants.

Both Richard and Becky are wannabe farmers. Though they have made several attempts, it appears that they dont quite have the green thumb. Thankfully, they are much better and have had great results with selling chicken salad. Their favorite part of this journey has been hearing customers say that their restaurant felt like they were at home. As for their favorite Chicks? Beckys is the Fancy Nancy, while Richard loves the Olivias Old South.

Introducing the new Deck the Holly! Only available for the holiday season, this limited time salad is described as taking their Chicken Salad Chick cult-favorite, Holly Jalapeno, and adds cranberry for the perfect festive blend of sweet and spicy for the Christmas season! This means that they take a chicken salad that features jalapenos and adds in tart bursts of cranberry.

After all of the stellar reviews, I finally made it to Chicken Salad Chick for lunch. Ive wanted to try it for a few weeks, but I always get the urge on a Sunday or near 8 p.m. when it closes. I wish they were open later.Im trying to lower my carbs, so the scoops of chicken salad were perfect! I had the JalapeñoHolly and the Fruity Fran. They were both delicious however it looked like the JalapeñoHolly had canned jalapeños and I was expecting fresh ones just based on the companys brand. I didnt realize that the scoops come with:A bunch of whole wheat crackersA pickle spearA small cookieThats great, but I wish I wouldve known, so I could asked them to take the crackers and cookie off of the order lol. Overall, I think its wonderful to have some healthier fast food in the area.It reminds me of the scoops you can get at Lonnis Sandwich shop though. The fruity chicken salad at Lonnis is better than Fruity Fran. Buuuut its nice to have more options over at Chicken Salad Chick, and a faster way to get it.Oh! In Chicken Salad Chick, breakfast doesnt last all day long. Customer breakfast is served to customers between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. each morning during their breakfast hours. The average person consumes breakfast for over four hours. You can get a great breakfast at the Chicken Salad Chick in the morning if you are awake during these hours.

The first experience with Chicken Salad Chicks in Columbus and I was sold. I had the opportunity to choose my own lunch from a variety of chicken salad combinations as well as having a sandwich or just a groupinging of salad combos, a pickle and some whole wheat crackers. I have been to the restaurant a number of times and always choose just the salad combos. They also have great soup. The locations are clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is tasty! The decor is charming and very inviting. One can eat in or take out as well as purchase salads in larger containers to serve at home. This is a delightful place to have lunch. Costs are moderate.

The only reason they did not get a 5 star was due to the price. Let me start by saying the staff is just wonderful! They wanted us to have samples of the chicken salads we thought we may like. They are all delicious beyond belief-I know its only chicken salad- but it really was delicious. My favorite was Sassy Scotty and Fancy Nancy, however the next time I buy chicken salad from them it will be by the pound. It is so much more cheaper that way. We paid for one scoop and one side $7.49. A pound is $9.95. Love this place but eat-in is not for me.

Meet Chicken Salad Chick of Tampa East Fowler owners Brad and Tammy Cochran and Pete and Julie North. Tammy, an IT manager at Media General, and Brad, who worked with Dow Chemical, never managed they would end up in the restaurant business. Everything changed in 2015.

Tammy first heard about Chicken Salad Chick when Founder Stacy Brown came to her sister-in-law Jazzy Julies baby shower in 2007. At the time, Stacy was selling her products out of her home. She had a logo on her car and brought samples with her. Later, Pete and Julie North opened the Valdosta location, and after Tammy visited, she immediately fell in love and approached Stacys husband and CSC founder, Kevin Brown, about franchising opportunities.
