Michelle, was a longtime fan of Chicken Salad Chick before hearing about opportunities to franchise with us. She gave her friend, Julie, a call and asked her to consider looking at the concept. While both friends had started careers in sales and marketing before becoming stay-at-home parents, Julie had no restaurant experience and was a little hesitant at first. However, after trying the delicious chicken, she was eager to get back into the business world with Michelle. They set up a meeting with our founders, Kevin and Stacy Brown.
During their meeting, both Michelle and Julie realized their values lined up with those of the Browns. They loved the idea of creating great career opportunities for people and sharing the Chicks delicious, healthy food with other communities. The two friends love being a part of the Chick family and currently own eleven locations.

Michelle was a fan of Chicken Salad Chick for quite some time before learning about our franchise opportunities. She reached out to her friend, Julie, and asked her to consider the concept. While both friends started careers in marketing and sales before becoming stay-at-home parents, Julie lacked restaurant experience and was a little reluctant to take on the role. However, after trying our delicious chicken, she was inspired to rejoin the business world. She and Michelle set up a meeting with Kevin and Stacy Brown, our founders.
During their meeting, Julie and Michelle found that their values lined up with those of the Browns. They loved the concept of sharing our fresh, healthy food while giving people great career opportunities. The two friends currently own eleven stores and love being a part of the Chick family.

Chicken Salad Chick Opens Sixth Restaurant In Upstate South Carolina
ATLANTA, April 27, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — Chicken Salad Chick, the nation’s only Southern inspired, fast casual chicken salad restaurant concept, announced today its continued expansion in South Carolina with a new restaurant opening in Anderson. Located at 1708 East Greenville Street, the Anderson restaurant marks the brand’s sixth location in the Upstate region and 11th overall in the state, with a restaurant in Rock Hill slated to open later this year. The Anderson location will celebrate its grand opening on May 11 by offering free chicken salad for a year to the first 100 guests. Those awarded will be properly distanced and will receive a designated return time upon arrival to spread out the number of guests at the restaurant throughout the day.
Chicken Salad Chick is closely following South Carolina’s state and local guidelines for COVID-19 procedures and will open the Anderson restaurant with social distancing measures in place. All employees will be wearing masks, as well as practicing proper handwashing and food safety protocol, and all guests will be required to wear masks until seated for dining.
