Stacy Brown has always been on a quest to find the perfect chicken salad. One day she had an epiphany: Everyones idea of the perfect chicken salad is completely different! The stay-at-home mom set to work perfecting her own recipe, recruiting her family and neighbors to taste-test, before arriving atthe one.
Once Stacy had the chicken salad that made her family and friends say mmm, yes maam, she started dropping off samples of her creation in teachers lounges and hair salons, and then began selling door-to-door. Orders poured in Chicken Salad Chick was born. One day Stacy received a call from Stan with the Lee County Health Department, who told her the home business was illegal. With her chicken salad still in high demand, Stacy and her husband, Kevin Brown, were motivated to open up a carry-out only, humble yet honest-to-goodness restaurant where they could spread joy, enrich lives, and serve others. The rest, as they say, is history.

Chicken Salad Chick Opens Sixth Restaurant In Upstate South Carolina
Chicken Salad Chick Opening in Anderson
Chicken Salad Chick, the nations only Southern inspired, fast casual chicken salad restaurant concept, announced its continued expansion in South Carolina with a new restaurant that recently opened in Anderson. Located at 1708 East Greenville Street, the Anderson restaurant marks the brands sixth location in the Upstate region and 11th overall in the state, with a restaurant in Rock Hill slated to open later this year.
Chicken Salad Chick is closely following South Carolinas state and local guidelines for COVID-19 procedures and will open the Anderson restaurant with social distancing measures in place. All employees will be wearing masks, as well as practicing proper handwashing and food safety protocol.
Multi-unit franchise owners Julie Beville and Michelle Singleton of Sing Bev Hospitality, LLC are the team behind Chicken Salad Chicks South Carolina expansion. The restaurant industry powerhouses opened their first Chicken Salad Chick restaurant in Greenville in 2013 and have quickly expanded to own and operate a total of 12 locations throughout the Carolinas, including all of the brands locations across Upstate South Carolina. As Beville and Singleton debut their 13th restaurant in Anderson, the team is on track to open the Rock Hill location later this year.

My first time and will definitely go back. Kind of girly, but men came in for carry out. Lots of chicken salads and sides. I had the original like Grandma use to make 1 scoop of chick salad and 1scoop of best pimento cheese I ever had with crackers, dill pickle,and small cookie. Sandwiches too and other sides, salads and soup. Hubby had 1 scoop chick salad and cup of chick salad tortilla very good he said.
We enjoyed our visit. It cost about 11$ a person. There were 3 of us. One of us got the half sandwich with soup plus a drink. The other two in our party got a full sandwich with a side and a drink. All our orders came with a cookie and pickle spear. Overall it was pretty pleasant and the food was good.

I love that place and the food was great. I go there a lot. The employees were fantastic. The atmosphere was nice. I highly recommend it.

If you happen to be in this area, it’s a great quick lunch spot. If you’re no already on Woodruff Road, it may not be worth sitting in traffic. The lunches come with a small cookie and the prices are reasonable.
Last ate here in late APR. Wife had a cranberry Kelli sandwich, I had a scoop of Olivia’s Old South – both very good.
Wife and I enjoyed a lunch here on a Tuesday . We have eaten at their Augusta Road location before. Food always great.
