First time at Chicken Salad Chick and pleasantly surprised at the assortment of their salads. By far the Kickin Kay Lynne is the best, the flavors are a delight on you palate. The service is fast and friendly. Loved the colorful table covers. Will be back when looking for a quick healthy meal. $

Chicken Salad Chick, the Alabama-based restaurant chain, announced plans to open a restaurant soon in Daphne, Ala. The restaurant specializes in serving fresh-made chicken salad and sides.
DAPHNE, Alabama — Chicken Salad Chick, the Alabama-based fast-casual restaurant chain, announced plans to open a new restaurant in Daphne.
The new restaurant will be located at 1802 U.S. 98, Daphne. The first Chicken Salad Chicken location is in West Mobile in the Hillwood Shopping Center on Hillcrest Road it opened in November, 2013.
“We are so excited to add another location to the growing Chicken Salad Chick community in the Southeast,” said Kevin Brown, president of the company. “With our other area restaurant located across the Bay, we believe that this site will better serve those who are in the greater Mobile area.”
The new restaurant is owned by Misty Hudson McClure, owner of the current Mobile location. “We have absolutely loved getting to know the guests in our current store, and I’m so excited to be able to serve the best chicken salad in the South to a whole new community in Daphne!” said McClure.
The Chicken Salad Chick concept was established in Auburn, AL in 2008. It began in the kitchen of founder, Stacy Brown.
She was informed soon after that selling homemade goods from her kitchen is against the law. After being shut down by the health department, she solicited the business expertise of her future husband and fellow founder, Kevin Brown.

I stopped in never having heard of the place or the story behind it. The place was very clean, quaint with southern flare. The set up is like a quick service or fast food counter. There seemed to be every possible form or flavor combination containing chicken salad. Had the mix with pimento cheese and loved it! You should try it for yourself and find out which recipe you will like best!
We stopped here for lunch when we were on the road. It was a nice change from the usual hamburgers and greasy stuff. The soup and sandwich platter was ample and my husband enjoyed the original chicken salad with a baked potato soup. I had the three-salad platter with the Nana’s nutty salad, the original, and the one with egg and pickle in it. All three were good, although I preferred the nutty and original. The chicken is nicely shredded and mayo is well balanced. The platter came with whole wheat crackers that enhanced the meal.

Chicken Salad Chick has served a great purpose within our community as we have given opportunity and they have gladly accepted on various occasions to feed our veterans and also members of our physically and disabled community. In short, we love Chicken Salad Chick. And they love us too.
We got the toasted turkey sandwich with the loaded potato soup. It was amazing, couldn’t finish our sandwiche’s we both had half a sandwich left. We got some Ceaser chicken sandwich to take him and oh my Lord it’s so good! I hope y’all have great experience as I did.
First time eating at Chicken Salad Chick, and I was VERY happy! I had the classic Carol on a croissant with the pasta salad, and everything was portioned perfectly and fresh tasting. The little cookies are so cute and yummy too! The dining area was very pretty and love all the little personal touches, even though it’s a chain. Will definitely be eating more chicken salad!
