Meet Justin and Cassie Boyd, owners of Chicken Salad Chick of Prattville. Justin and Cassie Boyd operate the first Chicken Salad Chick franchise ever awarded. This young couple grew to love the brand as loyal customers, and when they found out that franchises were available, they both agreed they needed to be a part of the CSC family.
After meeting with founders Kevin and Stacy Brown, the Boyds made their pitch and were subsequently awarded the Montgomery, Alabama market, where they had just moved. Their first location opened in October 2012, and their passion for the Chicken Salad Chick brand led to them establishing their second location in February 2014.
Both Justin and Cassie love to play golf, and both are musically inclined Justin plays the guitar, and Cassie enjoys singing. Their favorite customer feedback came from a guest who visited their location at a very busy time, yet was cared to by the gracious staff in a timely manner. She was impressed by the attention to detail and the dedication of the entire CSC team.
While they love so many of the Chicks they offer, they still have their favorites. Justins is the Olivias Old South, while Cranberry Kelli is Cassies.

Second Chicken Salad Chick To Open In Montgomery
MONTGOMERY, AL – The owners of Chicken Salad Chick say they will be opening a second Montgomery location. They are announcing the new location will be located in the Sturbridge Village Community.
Current owners Justin and Cassie Boyd of JustCass LC wanted to bring an additional restaurant to Montgomery after the success of their first opening there in October of 2012.
“This is a very exciting time for our family and business as we look forward to continue serving the Montgomery community,” said owner Justin Boyd. “We hope that our passion for providing southern hospitality and palate pleasing food is evident to all who walk through our doors.”
The second location is planned to be open around April 15 of 2014.

I believe this is either a new location or new staff. They didn’t have the fancy Nancy chicken salad that 4 of us ordered, they changed our order, then a customer noted that the chicken salad we all ordered was in the ‘to go’ cooler.Overall the service was good, friendly staff and the chicken was good. I had jalapeno holly and another spicy one. They were pretty tasty….. I believe the cost was around $10 for 2 scoops, nothing extra.
I love chicken salad chick! It’s delicious the staff is always polite and kind and if you’ve never been there you can taste test their menu! Or at least you could before COVID lol! I haven’t tried recently so I might just try it and then get back to you!
