What Makes This Chicken Salad So Good

I think there are a few different elements that make this recipe unique.

• It calls for only chicken tenders. Chicken tenders shred wonderfully when pulled apart after cooking.
• Celery is chopped super fine, so you dont get large pieces of celery.
• Also, dry Ranch salad dressing mix adds a unique flavor.

For this recipe, I have chosen to cook the chicken tenders in chicken stock. I think this adds layers of flavor to the recipe. Good quality chicken stock is made with carrots, celery, and onion. The chicken tenders pick up some of this flavor.

Located in the Midlothian Towne Crossing, at 2020 FM 663, the store will host a grand opening on Wednesday, Sept. 22, and will offer free chicken salad for a year to the first 100 guests.

The Midlothian location marks Chicken Salad Chick’s ninth in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. Following the Midlothian opening, Chicken Salad Chick plans to open other Texas restaurants in Pasadena in late 2021 and Southlake early next year.

JLL successfully negotiates retail leases on behalf of the specialty fast-casual restaurant

DALLAS, May 20, 2019 JLL announced today the successful lease negotiation of Chicken Salad Chicks newest locations in Dallas-Fort Worth.

We were honored to be the first franchisees to open a Chicken Salad Chick in Texas, and have been overwhelmed with the excitement the local communities have shown for this world-class brand, said John Schissler, multi-unit owner/operator of Chicken Salad Chick franchises in North Texas. With more than a dozen original chicken salad flavors, as well as fresh side salads, gourmet soups, signature sandwiches and delicious desserts, Chicken Salad Chick serves Southern-style chicken salad made from scratch and served from the heart.

The Alabama-based eatery will be opening a new location with a drive-thru in Burleson at Elk Crossing, located at the southwest corner of John Jones Drive and Wilshire Boulevard, this summer.

Chicken Salad Chick will also open a new location in the historic Ridglea Village at 6100 Camp Bowie Boulevard in Fort Worth near Westover Hills.

JLL Vice President Michael Meaden negotiated the retail leases on behalf of the tenant.

The fast-causal restaurant currently has locations in Hurst and at Alliance open.

I normally don’t give a five rating to what I would call a “fast food” establishment, but this place is the exception. Wide variety of menu items, but being my first time I just wanted to try their classic chicken salad sandwich. It was very…good along with a side of mac and cheese and I was a happy camper. Topped off with a buttercream iced cookie from Cheryl ‘ s Cookies that comes with every meal and again, I was completely satisfied. Service was fast and friendly and the seating area was clean and each table with a table cloth. I highly recommend and will be back! Saw other items on the menu that I’ll try next time.More
