Salads are the easiest way to accomplish that, but Im also often dissatisfied with restaurant versions when Im looking to make a meal of one.

My perfect dinner salad has protein, a variety of vegetables, some sort of crispy component nuts, croutons or bacon work well and a tasty dressing, preferably not of the bottled variety.
