For this dressing, I used raw honey instead of regular because it has not been filtered to remove all of its nutrients and antioxidants. Before you add it to the rest of the salad ingredients, warm it up in the microwave for 15 seconds or so to make it easier to blend.
If you dont have any honey in your pantry, you can substitute it for pure maple syrup. Also, if honey is not your thing, you can omit that ingredient from the dressing altogether. Personally, I think this salad dressing tastes so much better with a sweet balance.
How to Store Leftover Homemade Dressing
If you prefer a light amount of dressing on your salad, you may have some of this dressing leftover. To store it, I recommend using a 16-ounce mason jar container with a lid. Whenever you are ready to use your dressing, give it a shake and enjoy!

You can freeze mason jars but I don’t recommend that you do it for salads You just can’t ensure the same level of freshness since you are eating salad. I definitely freeze other types of recipes in mason jars such as soups and stews, but salads don’t work.
That said, you can freeze components of the salads such as cooked chicken, rice, quinoa, etc.

I knew that I had to have some sort of Asian salad in the post. I just had to. They are at the top of the salad food chain as far as I’m concerned.
This one is SO good and super easy. I used my homemade Thai Peanut dressing, but again you could substitute with just about any Asian dressing.
For this recipe and the next one, I used grilled and ready chicken from the deli section of the grocery. It is precooked and even pre-sliced which makes this super easy. You could of course grill your own chicken as well.
