    INGREDIENTS

    • 2 heads of romaine lettuce, washed and dried

    2. Chop or tear romaine into bite-sized pieces and place in a large serving bowl.

    4. Put olive oil, mayonnaise, egg, garlic, salt, pepper and dry mustard into a small bowl. I use Hellman’s Real Mayonnaise, which has zero carbs and sugar. Blend using as immersion blender. Drizzle over salad, toss and serve.

    This makes a LOT of salad because we eat it as our meal. But you could prepare a smaller version and refrigerate the extra dressing to use the next day.
